In the period of 16-18 April 2019, the traditional exhibition Smart Cities took place in Sofia, Bulgaria in the international exhibition center. The exhibition presents technologies related to the construction and management of intelligent cities. The main focus of the exhibition is systems related to the protection of the environment. 
One of the features of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is Vitosha Mountain, which naturally merges with the city. It is a national park with rich forest vegetation. Without the forests in Vitosha Park, the city is doomed.
This is the main reason why NCITES presented for the second consecutive year the project and in particular the ASPires-GEO system. Numerous live demonstrations have been made by the experienced operation of the system in Pirin Park, Bansko, Bulgaria.
On the ASPires web site, the visitors could get acquainted in real time with the work of the ASPires-GEO system.
Visitors were given leaflets, brochures, pens with the project logo and catalogs. Of particular interest was also the Catalog of the project.
The main topic of the talks with the visitors at the booth was the organization of a system for prevention and early prevention of forest fires in Vitosha Park, using the ASPires-GEO system.
