ASPires Project presented in IoT Conference

The ASPires project and relevant researches in the area of IoT data management were presented on the 12th of September 2017 on the annual IoT conference in Sofia by Ivelin Andreev, senior project manager and software architect at Interconsult Bulgaria.

IoT Bulgaria Summit 2017 is a free community event that took place on September 12, 2017 for the second time in Bulgaria. This one-day event is focused on the latest technology trends in Internet of Things and was this year hosted at the Microsoft Innovation Center in Sofia Tech Park, the one of the most prestigious locations for innovation and knowledge sharing in Bulgaria.

The conference gathered nearly 150 participants from academic, business and technical areas, from Bulgaria and abroad. Representatives from some of the global leaders in the area, such as Microsoft, KPMG, Bosch Software Innovation and EPAM Systems shared their experience with the audience. More information about the conference, its sessions, sponsors and organizers is available on the official website http://www.iotsummit.tech.

The session about IoT data management received quite positive feedback from the participants and an interesting discussion took place with the audience. The presentation was made available on SlideShare where it received nearly 11000 views within less than a week. A fact which illustrates the high level of interest in IoT and the areas where ASPires has contribution.
